  • The FAA has confirmed it was a training flight that crashed at 11:02 a.m. while doing practice approaches. Two people on board did survive without serious injuries.

  • @ 11:02 per FAA pilot and certifier were doing practice approaches not sure if it was licensing or training Kent County Medical Control says everyone being transported out will be moved to other Spectrum Facilities. All emergencies should go to another facility at this time.

  • I might add that the gashes in the building are horizontal, not vertical. I don't necessarily believe it hit the communications tower as some described because the towers all appear to be intact.

  • The fire is out. It has been confirmed that two people on board what was a test/training flight escaped without serious injury upon crashing. You can see four deep gouges in the side of the building. It has been stated it was an aeromed helicopter.

  • Oddly I watched it on the news locally and the Eagles were going up two by two. Took a very long time just to get through them, but the public is move filing through versus how the scouts came up. Very moving.
